The Crucial Trading Coir Luxury Boucle range is a tough and fibrous carpet with a unique look and feel. Durable and robust. With a total thickness of approximately 17mm and made from 100% Coir derived from sustainable coconut fibres with a natural latex backing, it offers great domestic performance providing charm, warmth and longevity. Coir also has anti-static properties and is naturally moth-resistant.
As with most natural floorings, this carpet will require the double-stick method of installation with a suitable underlay such as Durafit 650 or other similar underlays that are suitable for natural floorings. For the required adhesives, the suppliers recommend F. Ball and Co. F3 adhesive for bonding the carpet to the underlay and F40 adhesive for bonding the underlay to the subfloor. We recommend allowing 48 hours for the carpet to acclimatise before fitting. For further peace of mind, we also advise having natural floorings stain-protected. Without altering the texture or colour, this applies an invisible barrier to the surface which allows you more time to act in the event of a food or drink spillage.
